ABOUT US
Established in 2015, ALWEH is a community-based mental wellness organization that
will give unrestricted access to counseling to underserved communities in parts of Northern and Southern New Jersey. ALWEH recognizes the lack of mental health professionals. To help combat this issue, our organization provides a means for counselors-in-training to gain the expertise required to help accelerate the completion of a degree program or supervision hours for licensure. Also, as a grassroots non-profit, we are always seeking sponsors, investors, and donations to raise money for future services.

​Dr. Aunjuli Hicks is the founder and executive director of ALWEH Counseling Consulting Wellness Group, Inc, a grassroots not-for-profit organization, and a licensed mental health professional and nationally certified counselor who has worked in the field of counseling & mental health for over twenty years. She is also the CEO/Managing Director of Hicks Group: Wellness Center, a private mental health practice in Millburn, New Jersey.
